• When you book with Comprehensive Appliances Ltd, your fixed-price repair includes:
• The engineer’s call-out and a full on-site evaluation
• Labour and parts coverage up to a value of £250
• Diagnosis and repair of a single fault
• A professional safety check and full functional testing
• A 90-day guarantee on the fault repaired
• VAT included in the fixed price

We will not proceed with your repair if:

• The appliance is deemed unrepairable after evaluation
• Incorrect or misleading information was provided at booking
• The cost of required parts exceeds £250
• Required parts are obsolete or unavailable
• The appliance is commercial or used in commercial premises
• There is no access to the appliance or the engineer is unable to park
• The repair would exceed 6 weeks due to part sourcing delays
• The appliance is already covered by another warranty

In such cases, the repair will be cancelled, and we will issue a refund minus a £75 call-out/admin fee. No further compensation will be offered.

We cannot continue with repairs under the following circumstances:

• The appliance is found to be fully functional
• It is installed in a caravan or boat
• The fault relates to a glass hob top replacement
• The fault is due to misuse, flood damage, infestation, or poor installation
• The repair location is not accessible to the engineer
• The appliance has been moved or is not used according to manufacturer guidelines

Booking is simple and can be done online or by phone. Please provide:

• Accurate appliance information (make, model, serial number)
• A clear description of the fault

This helps us prepare parts in advance and increases the chance of a first-time fix.
After payment, you’ll receive confirmation with your job number and repair date. If parts are required, we’ll source them quickly and schedule a follow-up visit. Note: Some parts, especially for older or imported models, may take longer to arrive. We will keep you informed throughout the process.

Ensure:

• The appliance is easily accessible
• There is suitable parking available for the engineer

If your appliance is unrepairable, we will refund your fee minus a £75 administration charge.

Our fixed-price repair covers the original fault for 90 days from the date the repair is completed.

If the same issue reoccurs, we’ll send the original service provider back to fix it at no extra cost.

This guarantee does not cover:

• Any new or unrelated faults
• Appliances moved or used outside manufacturer guidelines
• Faults due to misuse or installation errors

To reschedule or cancel, call 03330 300 029.

• You may cancel or reschedule free of charge before 16:00 the day prior to your appointment.
• Cancellations after this time will incur a £75 call-out/admin charge.
• If the engineer cannot access the property on the agreed date, the same charge applies.
• If we must cancel or change your appointment and you don’t accept an alternative, we will provide a full refund.
